Enjoy culinary Christmas traditions in the heart of Skåne

When darkness falls at the end of Autumn, and decorative ornaments light our way to the holiday season, we have long since been preparing for this year's Christmas buffet. We like to offer our favourite dishes with the best ingredients from local producers. Start with an assortment of pickled herrings, work your way through all the cold cuts, sallads and mains to the obligatory rice porridge and sweats table. You’d better come hungry!

Choose whether you wish to start with mulled wine in the castle, where you can listen to a short story from the castle’s history, or go straight for the buffet in the Stable.

For St Lucia, local choir “Vocals” will be performing on December 14.

Fifteen minutes before the start of the buffet, we gather in the Stone Hall for a short story, after which you walk through lit paths to the Stable, for the Christmas buffet.

We also serve the buffet during the Christmas market (“Scanian Christmas Days”). The price for the buffet is slightly reduced for adults but please note that the entry fee to the Christmas market applies.
