Welcome to experience an outdoor exhibition by Orranäs Glassworks in Bosjökloster’s park environment. Our younger visitors can go on a challenge to find glass animals hidden in the park!
The history of Orrefors began with the construction of the Orrefors Ironworks in 1726. Orrefors Glassworks was founded in 1898. After the glassworks was closed down in 2015, local entrepreneur Ingemar Andersson built a new blowing room called Orranäs Glasworks. A local commitment and genuine Småland tenacity is behind the operation.
This year, we are exited to exhibit a selection of the glass art created in the blowing room. A visit to Orrefors is also recommended! See more about Orranäs Glasbruk.

In Orranäs blowing room masters blow and sculpt glass. Classic techniques such as ‘grail’ are constantly evolving through collaborations with artists.
The collaboration between Susanna Arwin and Orranäs Glasbruk: Susanna is the "conductor" in the cabin and the masters are the "orchestra". Sculpted handbags, grail vases and cast "Aunties” are displayed at Bosjökloster.
