Henry Unger, painting

Henry Unger is a Swedish, internationally active artist based in Capri, Italy. His pictorial world has its roots in surrealism, and is sprinkled with windows into the unknown, with his subjects floating through his pictures, as in a rhythmic dance.

Henry has held exhibitions in among other Rome, Stockholm, Paris, Copenhagen, Milan and Venice. In 1975, at the beginning of his career, he exhibited at Bosjökloster! In 2018, the Museum Umberto Mastroianni in Rome organised a large retrospective exhibition of Henry’s work.

Makode Linde, afromantic sculptures

Makode Linde, born in 1981 in Stockholm, studied at Adolf Fredrik School of Music, Konstfack University of Art, Crafts & Design, California College of Art and the Stockholm Academy of the Arts. Nowadays, Makode is internationally active and lives in Berlin where he paints, performs and creates stage decorations, is a musician, DJ and makes album covers and music videos.

Makode participated in The Swedish Artists' Association 75th anniversary, where his ‘Painful Cake’ became the talk of the town - and the world.

At Bosjökloster, he shows a selection of his afromantic sculptures.
