Half-day course in plein air painting
Thursday 25 July at 9.30-13.00
Welcome to experience the nature and cultural-historical environment at Bosjökloster Castle & Gardens. Through painting, we observe the landscape and discover different shapes and shades of colour.
The course is suitable for both children and adults. No prior knowledge requirements. All materials are included and easels and painter's coats are available to borrow on site. We will work with acrylic on canvas. You can take the painting home with you.

Programme
9.30 am Check-in (please bring your own snacks)
10 am Introduction/demonstration of plein air painting
• Underpainting in ocher or another tone
• We observe the landscape and perceive colors, light and shadows
• Sketch with a brush to find your composition
• Paint large surfaces first, save details for last
• We mix color tones, think of warm/cold, complementary colours
1 pm Wrapping up together
Stanna gärna kvar och njut av en god lunch i vacker slottsmiljö. Det går bra att ta med egen mat eller köpa i slottscaféet. Kl 14.00 ges en guidad visning av Bosjökloster.
Feel free to stay and enjoy a good lunch in the beautiful castle surroundings. You can bring your own picknick to the park or or buy lunch in the Garden Café. At 2.30 pm there is a guided tour of Bosjökloster.
Price 650 kr/participant
For an adult with a child under 12 years: SEK 950
Children 12 to 16 years: SEK 450
The price includes entrance fee, half-day course, all materials and the tour at 2:30 pm if you wish to stay and make the visit a full day.
Good to bring:
Comfortable clothes, sun hat, water bottle and something to eat.
Registration is binding. Should you be unable to attend, you may choose a spot at another course.
